
The Emerging Leaders are focused on the following objectives:
- Develop a personal definition of leadership to frame their leadership learning experience
- Develop an understanding the philosophy underlying the Social Change Model of Leadership
- Develop personal and group leadership skills around the three sequences of the Social Change Model: The Individual; The Group; and The Community/Society
- Develop an understanding of each of the 7 C's values of the Social Change Model of Leadership
- Develop and enhance leadership knowledge and skills through workshops, speakers, and readings
- Assess growth in learning about leadership and their capacity to lead through reflection
