2003 Facility Master Plan - Part V

List of Projects:

Project 1 - Northeast Regional Center Expansion including the Center and reworking the library and student support space.
Project 2 - Northwest Regional Center Expansion including completing the South Building, developing parking (including expanding lot (tear down Paley) and two-level deck), and future expansion options.
Project 3 - West Philadelphia Regional Center Expansion including redesigning Main Building and expanding Auto Tech Facility to permit affiliated programs with one or more major auto manufacturers. Will require additional property acquisition or lease.
Project 4 - Expand Student Life/ Gymnasium complex with new building(s) to accommodate expanded student services; redesign and expand student life programs and services; relocation of Bonnell student food service and dining areas; Hotel/Restaurant and Dietetics programs; and additional general-purpose classrooms. This will include a new independent cooling system.
Project 5 - Relocate and Expand Student Systems to Ground Bonnell and Mint - includes Mint Ground Business Service Center and upgrades to reflect building code compliance.
Project 6 - Redesign the northern (front) section of the First and Third Floors of the Mint Building.
Project 7 - Consolidate the Learning Labs on the First and Second Floors of Bonnell.
Project 8 - Build an External Bridge to link the new Center for Business and Industry with new construction adjacent to the Winnet and Gym.
Project 9 - Recreation Deck (renewal and enclosure).
Project 10 - Parking Garage rehabilitation.
Project 11 - Improve appearance of Spring Garden Street campus, including grounds and entryways. Improve access to upper levels of campus buildings, particularly in the Bonnell and Mint Buildings.
Project 12 - Improve Access to the Upper and Lower Levels of the West Building.
Project 13 - 1809 Spring Garden Street. - Demolition and Rebuild.
Project 14 - Mechanical Systems Renewal.
Project 15 - Expand central Library into Welcome Center. Redesign the first floor Bonnell Library space to better meet current program requirements.
Project 16 - Design Technologies Program (Relocation and Redesign).
Project 17 - Update Chemistry and Biology laboratories including integration of computer technologies.
Project 18 - Establish Instructional Development Technology Center.
Project 19 - Assessment Center (Redesign and Expand).
Project 20 - Redesign Television Studio Space.
Project 21 - Center for Disability (Relocation and Expansion of Space).
Project 22 - Update (and consolidate, if feasible) Allied Health labs.
Project 23 - Gradual conversion of general-purpose classrooms to Smart classrooms and additional PC/laptop classrooms as needed.
Project 24 - Redesign Photography Program space.
Project 25 - Counseling Center redesign (New Location).
Project 26 - Student Health Services (Relocate and Expand).
Project 27 - Gym update to reflect current needs.
Project 28 - Improve design and functionality of Winnet Great Hall.
Project 29 - Redesign and Expand Early Childhood Education Classrooms.
Project 30 - Relocate current language lab from Mint Rotunda location to adequately-sized, appropriately outfitted location.
Project 31 - Redesign of Bonnell-One space adjacent to small auditorium to accommodate Theater Program's teaching and performance space, as well as to increase performance space and meet other needs of the Music Program.
Project 32 - Increase and Improve Quality of Faculty Office Space on all Campuses.
