The Facilities Management Department is responsible for developing, maintaining, and protecting the Community College of Philadelphia's physical facilities. These facilities are comprised of the Main Campus, which is situated on 14 acres in Center City, with six major buildings encompassing in excess of 1 million gross square feet. In addition, the department is responsible for three Regional Centers that the College operates throughout the City, with a combined floor area in excess of 150,000 square feet on an additional 13 acres of ground. The College's buildings and grounds range from the historic former U.S. Mint to modern state-of-the-art science and computer classrooms and Library. It is the responsibility of the Facilities Management Department to see that every facility supports the needs of students, faculty and staff. Facility services are delivered through four operating groups.
