As we examined the charge, it became clear that we needed a basic definition of "effectiveness," so we have decided to use the criteria that seem to be laid out in #1 as a working definition. At our next meeting (September 19), Joe Murray and Ardencia Hall-Karambe will lead us in an exploration of program audits and other related topics. In addition, we'll begin a discussion of #2 and #7, to give Lynne and Timothy (who are working on #2) and Dawn (who expressed interest in #7) a sense of direction. On October 3, Joe McFadden plans to present us with material relating to #5.
