1. Distribution of Materials
   New materials were distributed and numbered:
   • #21 - A Review of Higher Education Literature Related to Models of Student Outcomes (IR Report #77).
   • #22 - Madeline Marcotte's Summary of Howard Community College's Web-page (Attached to this document are selected pages from their website).
   • #23 - Community College of Philadelphia Survey of 2001 Graduates
   • #24 - A Survey of Institutional Effectiveness from the book Embracing the Tiger by John Roueche et al.
   • #25 - Joan Monroe's Action Plan Ideas for Standard 14
   • #26 - Southern Illinois University Website - "Classroom Assessment Techniques."
   • #27 - Elaine Tagliareni's email to the Committee - George McCasland will bring copies to the next meeting.
2. Important Dates
   • November 19th - Deb and Sonya will present draft of Action Plan to our Committee for discussion
   • November 26th - Final Draft of Action Plan will be presented to our committee
   • January 6th, Monday of Professional Development Week 1 - 3 PM - All committees will report to College community about status/progress
   • January 7th, Tuesday of Professional development Week 3 - 4:30 - Standard 14 Committee Meeting
   • March - Draft of final document
   • March and April Open Forums - There will be two open forums each month
   • May - Final report due at the beginning of May
3. Discussion of Action Plan
   • The Action planned was discussed in detail and suggestions were made to address the 4 aspects of our charge. Sonya and Deb will present a draft of the action plan at our next meeting.
   • Sonya and Deb will be meeting with the Standard 12 Committee (General Education) because our committees have some overlap. We may be able to work together on some issues and share data and other information.
4. Assignments
   • Read Madeline's summary (document #22) and be prepared to discuss it at our next meeting.
   • Review the Graduate Survey (document #23). This survey will be sent to graduates to gather important information for Middle States. We need to suggest any additional questions or categories that we feel would assist us with our charge. Email any suggestions to Deb by Monday. Deb needs to give input to Jane Grosset by Tuesday, November 19th.
