Agenda Items Discussed:
- T. Jones reported on his interview with A. DiBlasi regarding the computer literacy requirement. A DiBlasi gave T. Jones a copy of "Report of the Task Force on Computer Competency." This document was written for Dr. R. Williams, former Vice President for Academic Affairs, December 1996. There also is an Information Technology Strategic Plan available.
- The necessary topics to include when designing surveys of current students and faculty.
- The development of focus groups for select Committee charges.
- The development of a provisional Action Plan for the Committee
- Draft of a timeline for major curricular reforms related to general education since last Middle States-Dimensions; American Diversity; Liberal Arts & CST curricula.
