Cabrini College Dual Admissions Agreement
Cabrini College welcomes applicants to the Dual Admissions Program in order to facilitate the transfer of students from Community College of Philadelphia to Cabrini College with third-year (junior) status for the purpose of entering a bachelor’s degree program.
Dual Admissions Eligibility
To be eligible for this program, students must:
- Submit a dual admissions intent form before earning no more than 30 college level credits from Community College of Philadelphia or any other college/university. Once a student has completed this form, he or she is strongly encouraged to meet with a Cabrini College admissions representative and a Community College of Philadelphia counselor to develop a course taking strategy.
- Submit the Cabrini College Application for Admission form once 45 credits have been earned at Community College of Philadelphia, or three to six months prior to the start of the semester he/she wishes to transfer to Cabrini College.
- Graduate from Community College of Philadelphia with any Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree with a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 2.0. All courses for which a passing grade (A, B, C, D) was received will transfer although their usage will be in accordance with the requirements for the requested program. (Many Cabrini College academic programs do not accept "C-" or "D" grades for the major/minor.)
- Enroll at Cabrini College within one year of graduating from Community College of Philadelphia and not attend another institution between graduation and attendance at Cabrini College. Satisfy all other regular Cabrini College admissions requirements.
NOTE:
- Students who have previously been matriculated to Cabrini College are not eligible for the Cabrini College dual admissions program.
- Cabrini College and Community College have a core-to-core agreement. Students completing an A.A. or A.S. degree program will fulfill all Cabrini College core requirements, with the following exceptions: three credits of Religious Studies (which may be taken at Community College of Philadelphia or another accredited college) and ECG 300 – Engagements in the Common Good, to be taken at Cabrini College.
- Students must complete 45 credits with Cabrini College, of which the last 30 credits must be completed at Cabrini College.

- Application fee to Cabrini College will be waived.
- Cabrini College Merit Scholarships for dual admissions students who enroll full-time (12 or more credits) with a 2.0 or higher GPA.
