Marketta Simmons

Hello, it was nice to meet you and the rest of the staff today. My name is Marketta Simmons, this is my second semester here at the Community College of Philadelphia. I am currently enrolled in the full-time Honors Curriculum. I think that I should be Queen because I know that I would be a good candidate. In my eyes a good Queen would be relatable, friendly and responsible. The most important characteristic a Queen should have is to be a good representative of the school.
I have all of these qualities and more. I will represent my school well and I'm a good role model. I've just joined the L.E.A.D.S program here at CCP and I signed up for volunteer work in the Women's Center. I love getting involved and I love helping people. I've accomplished a lot as of right now in my life but not even half of what I want to be. I have a 3.0 GPA but I'm aiming for a 4.0.
My thoughts on school spirit are having an enthusiastic attitude about your school influencing others to have the same feeling. I'm so excited about running and hopefully being elected. Thank you!
