Ellen Fernberger

Ellen serves as the College’s chief human resources officer providing strategic leadership and operational direction, including organizational development, succession planning, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, benefits, performance management and employee relations.  Contact Ellen if you have questions or concerns relating to policies & procedures, employee relations issues concerning faculty, administrators or classified/confidential employees, grievances, performance management, job classification and compensation, and/ or training and development needs.

Adrienne Woodlyn

Adrienne provides administrative support to the Associate VP for HR and the Director of HR and coordinates the administrative performance review process.

Lisa oversees the HRIS and Talent Acquisition functions within the Human Resources department. She assists the Associate Vice President for Human Resources with employee relations, compensation/classification, and talent management; and provides input into the development and administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs.

Kate Ferry

Kate is responsible for managing the faculty, administrative and classified/confidential recruitment processes, managing the probationary and annual classified/confidential performance evaluation process, and overseeing initial salary calculations, faculty sabbaticals and promotions. Kate is also directly responsible for administrative staff recruiting for salary grades 3 and above.

Terry Naana
Coordinator, Talent Acquisition

Terry serves as the lead over a full range of activities related to the acquisition of talent for (non-academic) staff positions at the College.  Terry’s job responsibilities include the development of recruitment plans, sourcing and screening applicants based on position qualifications, and providing consultative services to hiring managers to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of selection and hiring processes, in accordance with the College’s collective bargaining agreement.


Administrator, Faculty HR

Administrator, Faculty HR performs a full range of employment activities, including coordinating the recruitment of full-time, part-time, credit and non-credit faculty positions, reviewing applicant pools, conducting background checks, auditing resumes and establishing initial salaries. Administrator, Faculty HR advises and explains College policies and procedures regarding employment to search committees and is responsible for all non-benefit Human Resources related activities for faculty including contract renewals and sabbaticals.

Talent Acquisition Assistant

The Talent Acquisition Assistant provides support in the staff and faculty recruitment processes in the College’s Human Resources department.  This position is primarily responsible for the coordination of processes related to requests for temporary workers, background screening for staff and faculty positions, and new hire onboarding. 

Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

The HRIS area is responsible for maintenance of the HR module of the Banner system, and provides the primary coordination with the payroll office. If you need address labels or a report from the system, these are the people to contact. Changes to demographic information such as name changes, address changes, etc. are handled by the HRIS area. They also handle employee verification.

Susan is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the activities of the Banner HR/Payroll Systems (HRIS) functions for faculty, staff, student positions and employment. Contact Susan if you have questions concerning job assignments.

Roger L Miller

Roger supports the planning, implementation and administration of the Banner Human Resources/Payroll Information Systems (HRIS) for faculty, staff, student positions and employment.  Roger prepares accurate and timely reports and audits of the HRIS system and serves as the department consultant with respect to system patches and upgrades.

Christna is responsible for entering and updating employee and payroll information into Banner, new hire processing, and maintaining personnel files and documentation.

Contact the employee benefits area if you have any questions concerning your medical, prescription drug, dental, life, long term disability or retirement plans. Employee Benefits staff can also provide you with information concerning the College's short term disability and income protection benefit programs, workers' compensation, health care and dependent care spending accounts, the commuter benefit program, and a variety of wellness programs and benefits.

Agnes Trummer

Agnes provides oversight for the employee benefits staff, and oversees all aspects of employee benefits.  She also handles the retirement programs and all matters pertaining to workplace injuries and Worker's Compensation claims.

Beth is responsible for all full-time employee benefits including new employee benefits orientations.

Lolita Lukes

Lolita is responsible for administering part-time faculty benefits, including medical, prescription drug, life insurance and retirement plan benefits.

Mark Frese

Mark is responsible for processing monthly bills and invoices, updating coverage information both in employee Banner records and on the medical and prescription drug carrier portals. Contact Mark if you have lost your medical, prescription drug or dental ID card and need a replacement.

Tracey Walker

Tracey is responsible for processing approved employee and dependent Tuition Remission benefits, data entering health care and dependent care spending account selections into employee Banner records, and updating and maintaining employee leave balance records.
