Residents of the Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) received certificates of completion at the College’s Center for Business and Industry on May 19 in a ceremony that marked their graduation from the College’s Administrative Assistant Job Readiness program. In its fourth year, the 132-hour program, offered through Corporate Solutions in collaboration with PHA, teaches computer skills, résumé preparation, job search and interviewing skills, as well as life skills essential to obtaining a job and staying employed. Twenty PHA residents graduated from this year’s program.
