RACC is introducing 14 career programs designed to help local residents find high-wage, high-demand jobs in industries such as advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, and healthcare technology.
 
In addition to providing relevant training, each program also includes an assigned career coach who will work with you to stay focused through your coursework and assist you in your job search. These programs vary in length with many being able to be completed in six months or less. Financial aid is available for qualified students.
 
Advanced Manufacturing
Advanced manufacturing is a growing field, especially with many manufacturing companies located in the Greater Reading area.

RACC offers courses to qualify you for a job as:
Production Technician - 8 weeks
CNC Machine Operator - 12 weeks
Industrial Maintenance Technician - 16 weeks
Mechatronics Technician - 52 weeks
(eligible students must have completed an AMIST Level 1/Industrial Maintenance Technician program)
Mechatronics Engineering Technology AAS Degree - 2 years
 
Electronic Health Records/Healthcare Information Technology
RACC recognizes that healthcare is an in-demand field, especially in the emerging areas of Healthcare IT and Medical Records Management.
Medical Insurance and Billing Specialist, Medical Receptionist or Medical Secretary - 24 weeks
Healthcare Information Technology Specialist - 48 weeks
Electronic Health Records and Healthcare Information Technician AAS Degree - 2 years
 
Renewable Energy
RACC has developed three new programs in the growing, high-demand field of renewable energy. Completion of some courses leads to industry recognized certification for Building Analysts (BPI), Solar PV Installers and Solar Thermal Installers (NABCEP). Courses are ideal for those who want to work or advance in the renewable energy sector.
Production Technician - 8 weeks

Building Analyst - 3 weeks
Solar Photo Voltaic Installer - 3 weeks
Solar Thermal Installer - 3 weeks
