Our job training programs include preparation for entry level jobs in manufacturing, green energy and health information technology. We offer an array of programs that provide short-term focused job training to help you obtain entry level positions in the workforce. Many of our programs offer opportunities for industry certifications.
Advanced Manufacturing
This program provides stackable credentials in areas that meet the regional needs for higher skill levels in production, industrial maintenance and, machining. This program will combine classroom activity and online instructional modules as well as hands-on applications of trade-specific skills to insure student success. For entry level maintenance technicians. Advanced Manufacturing is an open enrollment program, students can start anytime.
Green Energy Training Program
Mid level courses for inspectors to obtain advanced credentials in energy conservation. This program provides students with the energy conservation skills related to home energy auditing and geothermal heating/cooling systems. Working with regional employers, LCCC will use stackable credentials to prepare the student in an expedited format.

HealthCare Technology Specialist (HTS)
A 361 hour, 11 week program which prepares the participant for an entry level position in the healthcare field with a well rounded knowledgebase in healthcare and an understanding of computer infrastructure and data management. This program includes instruction in Medical Terminology, Medical Office Productivity, Professional Communications, and Database Management. Students will be CPR certified. There is a 40 hour practicum attached to the training.
